Special Destination Companion
Traveling around Japan on your own is exciting, but visiting a traditional pottery workshop, a local craftsperson, or a remote temple can be challenging due to language barriers. I will accompany you for just those specific visits, ensuring deep communication and rich cultural exchange.
Administrative & City Hall Support
Dealing with administrative paperwork at local town halls, applying for registrations, or visiting Japanese medical clinics can be overwhelming due to complex forms. I will meet you at the office, assist in filling out documents, and interpret for you at the counter.
Business & Negotiation Assistance
Visiting Kyushu for business? Often, you only need an interpreter for key moments, such as a 1- or 2-hour negotiation, contract review, or an initial meeting with local partners. I will join your business sessions and help you communicate precisely, professionally, and smoothly.
Activity & Lesson Enrollment
If you want to experience or enroll in traditional Japanese cultural classes (tea ceremony, martial arts, flower arrangement, pottery, etc.), the initial sign-up and interview can be daunting. I will accompany you to the venue, translate the instructions, and support your enrollment interview.
Remote Proxy Purchase & Agency
If you are currently outside of Japan but want to buy a unique local item, coordinate with a Japanese manufacturer, or make a complex booking that requires Japanese communication, I can act as your proxy agent. I will visit the store, connect with you via video call, and handle the transactions.
Pricing & Fees
- Flexible Booking: Basic rate starts at 30 USD per hour. Minimum booking is just 1 hour.
- Not Included: Actual transportation costs (e.g. train/bus fares) and other companion expenses (e.g. facility admission fees, meals if accompanied) are not included.
- Service Area: Covered across all 7 prefectures in Kyushu (Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima).
- Payment: Secure online payment via WISE after the service is successfully completed.
